Food & Service

We believe that Care Homes need a specialist approach to their food and service. Compact do not operate a specific Care Home catering solution because we prefer to listen to the needs of the client and create a bespoke package that matches those requirements.

Full Service Offer

Fresh food, freshly cooked by trained staff alongside nutritionally balanced menus recognise the dietary requirements of care home residents. Mealtimes are the highlight of the day so we encourage our staff to become regularly involved and create special days and events. We also give residents flexibility around the menus and add in those special touches to make them feel comfortable and more at home.

Area Managers provide guidance and assistance to the on-site catering team whilst ensuring that any absence is covered with Compact trained employees to ensure that consistency is maintained.

Food safety is paramount within these environments so ingredients can only be bought through approved, audited suppliers and prepared by trained chefs in clean kitchens. Our strict food safety management system ensures no margin of error and conforms to the Commission for Social Care Inspection standards.

Compact Catering believe that working in partnership with care homes is the key to success. We encourage our staff to understand and become involved in the ethos and spirit of the home

Preferred Purchasing Plus

Our Preferred Purchasing Plus service allows an in-house operation to take full advantage of our expert knowledge of the industry and purchasing power.
